Our mission	To entertain and enrich the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds throughout the Berkshire region by providing accessible and affordable performances of a broad range of operas with the highest artistic standards.

Opportunities	General Office Assistance Volunteer with our administrative staff at our home office in Great Barrington and take a hands-on role in BOF’s daily activities. Help is most often requested during the summer season, but we do periodically have projects that require assistance throughout the rest of the year. Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Artist Welcome Team Our artists travel from all over the country and globe to perform with BOF, and we want to ensure they have a very warm welcome throughout their stay in the Berkshires. Join our artist welcome team to help receive our artists and help them feel at home! Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Special Event Assistance BOF periodically needs assistance at fundraising events, patron events, artist receptions, and other functions. Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Event support On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Ushering Ushers help to keep BOF’s performances running smoothly and to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for our audiences. Plus, you can see a performance for free! Occasional Teens, 55+, Adults Individuals Event support On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends

How you help	Berkshire Opera Festival offers a variety of volunteer opportunities. Donating your time helps BOF keep our promise of fiscal responsibility while giving you the chance to interact with our exceptional artists and patrons – and have a great time doing it!

About us	We are Berkshire Opera Festival (BOF), a fully-producing summer festival that opened in 2016. Adhering to the highest standards of artistic excellence, we are committed to restoring fully-staged opera to a place of prominence in the Berkshire community. Each summer, we present musically and dramatically compelling operatic productions, in addition to recitals and other related musical events. We believe that opera is a living, breathing, relevant art form, and must be nurtured as such in order for it to survive and thrive. There is no substitute for experiencing the power of the live, unamplified human voice in a theater, and opera has the inherent, transformative ability to greatly enhance one’s quality of life. Our intent is for BOF to be an integral and vital part of the community, and it is central to our mission to present performances that are accessible and affordable to all Berkshire residents.
