Opportunities

Volunteer

Each volunteer and internship opportunity is different – with its own unique set of responsibilities and therefore requiring its own mix of relevant skills and experience. Each department will provide job-specific training to the selected volunteer and/or intern. Volunteer areas include: Development, Exhibitions, Membership, Film/Performances, Museum Shop, Marketing, Collections, Guest Services, Building/Maintenance, Administration, Education, Aquarium, Special Events, and Docent and Tour Guide.

How you help

Volunteers and interns are a vital and integral part of what makes the Berkshire Museum function and they perform a broad range of tasks in a variety of departments across the Museum. Volunteers and interns work alongside, and in support of, Museum staff to further our mission of bringing people together for experiences that spark innovative thinking by making inspiring connections between art, science, and natural history.
