Volunteers can assist in a variety of ways including preparation, set-up, or photography during the event.

Our volunteer board of directors and various committee members help guide us and keep our organization on a path to success.

Program instructors have been key partners in our work since the beginning. They include natural resource professionals, educators, scientists, students, and community members who share their passion, knowledge, and life experience with young people.

Each volunteer and internship opportunity is different – with its own unique set of responsibilities and therefore requiring its own mix of relevant skills and experience. Each department will provide job-specific training to the selected volunteer and/or intern. Help with weeding, harvesting, watering, and processing. Each volunteer is responsible for bringing their own pair of gardening gloves and face masks. All tools for gardening will be provided by Jacob’s Garden.
