CATA volunteer opportunities have changed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Please contact Kara Smith at [email protected] to learn more about our current opportunities. Our preference is for individuals who can make a multi-week commitment, though occasionally we also need volunteers for specific events and projects.

These volunteers will spend time at the exhibit – meeting and greeting visitors and answering questions.

These volunteers will help in the setting up and tearing down of exhibits.

During this pandemic masked and gloved volunteers work during the Pantry’s food distribution hours moving produce, meat in coolers, milk and pre-filled grocery bags outside onto tables under a shelter. They place items designated by shoppers into bags, and assist with crowd control to help everyone to physically distance themselves. Volunteers are expected to dress…

Volunteers may choose to usher in the iconic Koussevitzky Music Shed and other venues, serve as a Host assisting patrons on the grounds, assist in the gift shop, assist children as they discover the wonders of classical music at the ever-popular instrument playground, and more.
