Although our Food Pantry is open only two mornings each week, volunteers work behind the scenes throughout the week. Weekly volunteer opportunities are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. We are always looking for volunteers to help with carpentry, mechanics, painting, electrical, landscaping, etc.
Help with finance, marketing, communication/media, special event planning, etc.
Help us provide a great experience by assisting as a ticket agent or docent.
While we have some great volunteers, the Berkshire Food Project still has various jobs for volunteers to fill. Among the most needed are for dishwashers, food preparers, and cleaners. Give one or two hours a week or more if you wish. The BFP operates from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Help maintain our heirloom gardens, harvest produce, and assist with CSA distribution.
Assist with set-up/break-down, check-in, ushering, children’s activities, and parking for dinners, concerts, festivals and other special events.
