Volunteers are needed for many aspects of hosting runs from 5K to a Marathon.

Although our Food Pantry is open only two mornings each week, volunteers work behind the scenes throughout the week. Weekly volunteer opportunities are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. We encourage you to write letters to our legislators to share your experience with the food pantry and the need for food assistance in the Berkshires and beyond.

While we have some great volunteers, the Berkshire Food Project still has various jobs for volunteers to fill. Among the most needed are for dishwashers, food preparers, and cleaners. Give one or two hours a week or more if you wish. The BFP operates from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Volunteers can assist in a variety of ways including preparation, set-up, or photography during the event.
